My stay at the hotel was wonderful overall. The rooms were clean and well-appointed, although the bright lighting affected the ambience slightly. The service was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff, although one staff member was not very welcoming. The location was superb, nestled in the vineyards with a beautiful setting. The dining experience was mostly good, aside from being a bit pricey. The facilities were well-kept and enjoyable.

The hotel offers large and stylish rooms that are presented in clean and comfortable conditions. The rooms feature coffee making facilities, and some even have a good size balcony with scenic views of the vineyards. The service provided was excellent with professional and friendly staff, although there were some instances of snobby behavior. The location is perfect for exploring the Bordeaux area and visiting the vineyards of Saint Emilion and Bordeaux. The dining experience, while average with a limited range of pastries, is set in a beautiful setting. Overall, a unique stay with a mix of positives and negatives.

I stayed in one of the best suites on site, which was well-appointed. The room itself was nice, but I was a bit disappointed to find a cheap plastic bath that flexed when I stood in the shower. However, the photos were accurate in showing the room without it.

The room was well-appointed with nice decor, but the cheap plastic bath was a downside.
Service

The staff came and asked if I wanted a drink, which was a nice touch. However, there was some tension in the air. When I had transport problems, they truly went the extra mile to help resolve the issue.
Location

The hotel's location is superb in the middle of the vineyards with an excellent wine producer on the same grounds. I enjoyed the lovely views from the pool and during breakfast. It's a great place just outside St Emilion.
Dining

The dining experience was a hit and miss affair. It was too expensive for the quality, and the breakfast on the 2nd day was very disappointing. However, the home-made products were a nice touch.
Facilities

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were presented in clean and comfortable condition, with French balconies offering lovely views of the vineyards. However, the hotel seemed to have a limitation regarding the number of persons allowed in the room upon arrival, which was a bit inconvenient. The location was great for exploring the area, but it could get quite warm due to being enclosed without much wind circulation.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were clean and comfortable with French balconies overlooking the vineyards. I enjoyed the fine views from my balcony. The only downside was the restriction on the number of persons allowed in the room upon arrival.
Service
9.0
The service at the hotel was top-notch. From room service to dining at the restaurant, the staff made sure everything was relaxing and accommodating. They certainly catered to what they believed was a well-heeled clientele.
Location
9.0
The location of the hotel was fantastic, surrounded by vineyards and only a short bike ride away from St Emilion town. It was a perfect spot for soaking up the sun, although it could get quite hot without much wind. The proximity to popular areas like St Emilion and Pomerol made it a great choice for exploring the region.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience at the hotel was nice, but some aspects were a bit lacking. Despite confirming our breakfast order, it didn't arrive to our room as expected. The meals were tasty, but I found them slightly overpriced compared to other options in the area.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel offered a range of facilities and amenities, from room service to dry cleaning, making the stay convenient and enjoyable. However, the pricing for certain services seemed to be on the higher side.

The hotel is a splendid retreat nestled in the midst of wine country. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed, offering a view of the picturesque wine vineyards. While the service was welcoming and knowledgeable, the location, though convenient to many vineyards, felt a bit isolated from the main hotel. The dining experience, though delightful, was considered overpriced. The facilities, including the pool, were maintained to a high standard.
